Glad to hear from you. Glad you're still alive....some of our friends are not.

I live in Asheville, NC and Rhinebeck, NY.

I've led an exciting life with careers in Film and Television (NBC and PBS), wife and mothering three boys, interior designer and last incarnation was Program Director for the Rhinebeck Library.

This fall, I bought a place in Asheville, where two of my sons live. It's been fun exploring a new place.

      Be well.

      Nan

Waiting to get through medical tests - annoying! & not going to add anything to my longevity- but expect a lot of other WCS alumni in similar situations- After graduating in '67 went to college in Colorado Springs, ultimately graduating as an art major moving toward architecture working with owner/builder on many projects around Colorado (ostensibly to ski but unlike Mt. Tom and Suicide 6, skiing was hours away and prices $$! So climbed a lot, looked for a lot of crystals, worked on environmental sculpture and ranches. Bought a 22ft costal cruiser and sailed out of Ipswich up to Maine in the mid 80's- Got married to a former print reporter on the North Shore, lived back in Colorado Springs in a small house I rebuilt in the late '70's early 80's- still there today. Had a up close relationship with the medical world as my wife was a juvenile diabetic and fought to maintain for 50 years - Now have access to a small "retreat" owned by a former college GF, expat from Austin and leased out to the couples who run San Juan Sled Dogs (about 60 giant Malamet dogs- who occasionally sing for about 45 seconds to a crescendo hanging note - she has only gaited horses & corgi dogs there now. It's a wonderful location, and she entertains Work-a-long individuals and families who are looking for experiences ranching and horse- training (20 hr. of work/week for room & board. So after a few years of Covid & a double stroke, figured this was the last year physically I could go back to sailing on the ocean- bought in late January, a 1974 Tartan 34C keel/centerboard sloop sitting in the Dog River, Mobile Bay -Alabama. Currently rebuilding/remodeling and upgrading electronics, diesel engine, rigging to be able to ply the Gulf waters/ maybe further before I become too old.....
