How long ago was 1954? I remember parts of it very well even though I'm 90 and this is 2018. I had never gone through photos on Continuum before, so never even thought of contacting you. You remain very clear to me and what those years were like for me. I just posted a long comment on this site about some of those years. If interested, please write. I did respond but have not heard back and hesitate to suggest anyone else write her - maybe a scam.
